Teresa D. Mills (’89)
Director of Risk Management at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Ga, has obtained a Master in Health Administration with a specialty in Education (MHA/Ed.) from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Az in December 2010.
Michael Rosenberg ('91 Physical Therapy)
Michael has been promoted to Rehabilitation Manager at Presbyterian Rehabilitation Center Charlotte, in Charlotte, NC. Recently he was appointed to the Board of Directors of The Health Guidance Center in Charlotte.

Dr. William E. Pellerin ('76)
Dr. Pellerin passed away on April 15, 2010. He practiced family dentistry and orthodontics in Waynesboro, GA and served as an instructor at MCG in the College of Dental Medicine in the late 1970s. He was an avid hunter.

Dr. W. Curt LaFrance Jr. ('95)
Dr. LaFrance is the Director of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Neurology at Rhode Island Hospital, and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Neurology (Research) at Brown Medical School. He co-edited, "Gates and Rowan's Nonepileptic Seizures", 3rd. Edition.
Dr. Douglas J. Pearce ('85)
Dr. Pearce has been appointed the Chief of Cardiac Sciences at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Dr. Walter J. Curran ('82)
Dr. Curran was appointed as the Executive Director of the Emory Winship Cancer Institute. He is also a Georgia Cancer Coalition Distinguished Scholar.
Dr. James Wilson Price ('79)
Dr. Jim Price is a practicing Orthopedic Surgeon in Dublin, GA. He was recently given an honorary professorship in the Dominican Republic as a result of his volunteer surgical missions to the area. He has also participated in surgeon training.
Dr. Rufus Harold Holbrook Jr. ('78)
Dr. Holbrook is wirting iPhone software after 22 years in California for a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship and a member of the OB faculty at Stanford.
Dr. Stephen David Clements Jr. ('66)
Appointed to the R. Harold Harrison Chair in Cardiology, Emory University Medical College of Georgia in May of 2010 and also named to the Atlanta Magazine's "Top Doctors in Atlanta" list in 2010. He was also given the Lifetime Achievement Award, Georgia Chapter of the American College of Cardiology in September of 2007.

You welcomed us with open arms, held our hand, and led us through years of scientific study. Your professors were dedicated and sincerely interested in our success, with care and concern for all. There was graduation and the Oath of Hippocrates, which we swore by, and have honored as you prescribed. We've seen you grown and prosper for fifty years, an example of excellent medical education. We love you, support you sincerely for evermore, and surely, the Lord blesses you forever.

Marilyn W. Farmer ('85)
Marilyn W. Farmer ('85) was named the 2012 J.W. Fanning Humanitarian of the Year Award by the Athens Regional Foundation for her years of service and dedication to Athens Regional Medical Center and the community. In February, she was named the 2012 winner of the international Athena Award by the Athens Chamber of Commerce for her professional dedication to community service and for actively supporting other women in their careers and leadership development. Ms. Farmer has been a member of the Board of Trustees at Athens Regional for nine years. She is currently serving as the Chair of the Athens Regional Health Systems, in addition to serving two years as the chair of the Athens Regional Medical Center. She also served fourteen years as an Athens Clarke Co. Commissioner. Ms. Farmer's nursing interest has been in Geriatric and Hospice Care for the bulk of her career.
Christine Louise Barrett ('83)
Dr. Barrett graduated from MCG in 2007 with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. In 2008 she became Co-Director for the BSN program at MCG's College of Nursing Athens Campus (SONAT).
Tamara Engle Powers ('98)
Tamara was the recipient of the Wellstar Hospital System's Center for Nursing Excellence: 2009 LEADERSHIP EXCELLENCE AWARD.
