As our population ages and health concerns like obesity, cardiovascular health and diabetes grow ever more pressing, our nation is facing an unprecedented shortage of health care professionals. As the state's health sciences university, GRU must not only fulfill but also grow its commitment to the citizens of this state: to continue to provide excellent health care through education and training of the next generation of health care providers.
